About

AJ Gabs grew up in Western PA where she currently resides with her husband and two daughters.  Her first stories were hammered out on an old Commodore 64 when she was only 8 and heavily inspired by her favorite reads at the time. 

The plan was always to be a writer, but a degree in English led to teaching, which led to a Masters, which led to a career in business.  With a background in English and Psychology, AJ started writing and illustrating again to help her daughters and teach them important lessons about life.  

Passionate about the value of story telling, AJ strives to help kids (and parents) tackle tough issues, enjoy silly moments, and create an inclusive and kind world.
